Create-A-Thon 2025
Create-A-Thon is a national 24-hour initiative where students provide pro-bono communication services to nonprofits in a marathon-style event. During the Fall 2026 session hosted by Second Story Media, I was selected as the Group Leader for the Watauga Humane Society account. Tasked with developing a comprehensive suite of deliverables for the Arko Dog Park, Doggy Day-Out, and The Cattery, our team faced a rigorous 24-hour production window.
This project was a true testament to the power of a dedicated team. Working alongside Sophia Dettore, Connor McGhee, Molly Osman, Katie Rogers, and Ava Whitt, we successfully navigated the intense time crunch to deliver high-quality assets. As the group leader, my primary focus was operational efficiency, delegating tasks based on each member's strengths to ensure a balanced workload and consistent output. In addition to overseeing the group’s progress, I took ownership of the Winter Campaign for Arko Dog Park, while the team developed original logos and a full library of social media graphics. By maintaining a clear workflow and a high level of team morale, we provided the Watauga Humane Society with a professional brand kit that will help drive their community engagement for seasons to come.
